About Reflux

Browser groovebox: analog synth, acid sequencer & drums.

Reflux is a free instrument that runs in your browser. It has no install and no account. It combines a monophonic synth, a bass sequencer and a drum machine on one screen, built for jamming live with a MIDI controller.

What's inside

• Synth. An MS-20 style monosynth with two VCOs, high-pass and low-pass filters with peak and two envelopes.
• FX. A tempo-synced LFO, drive and compressor that any rack can switch in, plus delay and reverb with a send knob on every rack.
• Bass sequencer. A 303-style step sequencer with accent and slide, plus multiple pattern banks.
• Drums. An 808/909-style drum machine with sample and synthesized voices.
• MIDI. Plug in a USB controller and play. Novation Launchkey MK3 and Akai MPK mini are auto-mapped, and MIDI Learn maps anything else.
• Record & export. Record a jam, overdub it, then export to WAV or MP3.
• Presets & sessions. Save sounds as presets and save whole sessions to files.

Requirements

Reflux needs a desktop browser. MIDI controllers need Web MIDI, which Chrome and Edge support.
